Chop Chop Lunch


My chop chop (read : fast) lunch for today and I'd never expected that frozen dumplings (Springhome) would taste so good.

I finished the whole pack of 10 dumplings. It's actually quite small each, slightly larger than a 50 cents coin.

Washed the dumplings down with a green tea with lime juice! Yummy!

Green Lemon Tea
Ingredients
  • 1/3 glass chilled green tea
  • 2/3 glass chilled lemon juice (Ripe brand)
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 lemon cut in quarts (remove seeds)
Method
  1. Put lemon & brwon sugar in glass and use a blunt stick to muddle it (end of rolling pin is good).
  2. Once the lemon has been 'pressed', fill it with the green tea and lemon juice.
  3. Top with ice and serve chilled.
Tips
  • You can use more green tea or add more brown sugar if you do not like the drink to be too sour.

  • Adding a sprig of mint leave while muddling the lemon and brown sugar can give the drink a refreshing lift.
